What information about me is being collected
Weblogs: Every time you view a web page, your IP address (a unique identifier employed when using the internet) is recorded by our web server. This can be used to track the viewing habits of a user, either in a single session or across multiple sessions if that IP address does not change. Furthermore, most current web browsers will inform a web server of the last page that was visited, which allows for determination of which web sites are linking to Vorarephile.com. Archives of all weblogs are kept by Vorarephile.com indefinately.
Vore In Video Games page: A web-based feedback tool is available for suggesting games to add to this list; no information will be made public about the submitter. Any text provided in a suggestion may be placed verbatim in the game description when added to the list.
Vore In Print page: A web-based feedback tool is available for suggesting print items to add to this list; no information will be made public about the submitter. Any text provided in a suggestion may be placed verbatim in the print item's description when added to the list.
What will be done with that information
Information gathered will be used only to better tune the website. Examples of analyzing of logs for tuning would be identifying which pages are seeing the most web traffic, determining which web sites are referring users to Vorarephile.com, and finding bad links within Vorarephile.com. We will not sell your personal information, IP address, etc. to any third party, nor release this information voluntarily to any third party. However, we cannot and will not be held responsible for information obtained through illegal access to our records (i.e., if we are hacked or subpoenaed.)
What can I do to protect my privacy
We realize that privacy is a serious concern to many people using the internet today. If you still have concerns about your IP address or web viewing habits being recorded, we suggest using an anonymous web browsing service such as Anonymizer, or a proxy to control cookies and other web-related data, such as Junkbuster.
Who do I ask for more information
If you have additional questions or concerns, please email us with a description of what you'd like to know.
